- The IT Support Technician III is responsible for advanced support of the day-to-day operation of the end user community through the installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of workstation and peripheral equipment. The IT Support Technician III also assists in the operational support of the system and network infrastructure. This includes the resolution of problems reported by the Information Technology Help Desk and the implementation of new equipment and new or upgraded functionality.

- Minimum Education
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field
- One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education

Minimum Experience- Two years experience in desktop computing, network communications, and/or telecommunications

Required Registration/License/Certification- Valid driver’s license
- One of the following within 6 months:
- Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- CompTIA A+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Network 5 Certificate
- Other certifications may be acceptable with Director approval

Preferred Education- Bachelor’s degree with technology focus
