      Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow ITSM Specialist to join our team on a fully remote basis. The position involves maintaining the health, performance, and reliability of the ServiceNow platform. Responsibilities include configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications, such as workflows, forms, business rules, and reporting capabilities to meet operational requirements. The role also entails managing user roles, permissions, and access control in alignment with security policies and organizational standards.

      Responsibilities of the ServiceNow ITSM Specialist
      • Proven expertise in overseeing and administering ServiceNow, encompassing platform configuration, updates, and technical issue resolution.
      • Practical development experience with custom workflows, scripting, portal design, and system integrations within ServiceNow.
      • In-depth understanding of ITIL frameworks and ITSM best practices.
      • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, along with working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS.
      • Capability to implement and sustain automated processes and workflows.
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
      • Experience in delivering user training and creating technical documentation.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
      • Knowledge of IT security policies, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles, particularly in a government setting.
      • Experience working in an Agile environment, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps.
      • Previous experience supporting government agencies or contracts.
      • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.


      Qualifications of the ServiceNow ITSM Specialist
      • 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical field.
      • 3+ of ServiceNow ITSM experience in a development or consulting role.
      • Preferred but not required certifications:
      • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
      • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
      • ITIL Foundation Certification

      Compensation of the ServiceNow Developer:
      • Salary: $130,000 - $145,000 (based on relevant experience)
