Pay: £27,000

Working hours: 45 hours a week. Shifts are scheduled on a rota basis, weekdays and weekends between the hours of 9am-10pm.

Job Summary: As a Hot Counter Team Leader, you will oversee the hot counter section and report to the Supervisor/ Manager on duty. You will be involved in food preparation and dealing directly with customers, greeting and offering a great customer service, suggesting and upselling our products. The role involves extensive food preparation such as cooking, ingredients preps, assembling dishes, helping with deliveries, ensuring enough stock, and keeping all working areas organised and clean.

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• To be an ambassador for the Japan Centre Group Brand
• To Serve customers through the till
  
• To assist customer packing or carrying their shopping within our sites
• Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
• To advise our customers about our food products
• Check & rotate date codes to ensure we provide our customers with quality products
  
• Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
• This job requires you to stand throughout your working shifts
• Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying heavy items

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience working in the Hot Food Counter
• 1-2 year experience in a commercial kitchen
• Previous experience leading a team
• English communication skills
