Job Description

- Design and implement integration solutions using Java and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs)
- Build and maintain Temporal workflows and activities as core components of integration flows
- Work with Temporal work queues to orchestrate complex financial processes
- Build application logic and business features that support integration processes
- Develop database interactions using Java and Quarkus abstractions
- Implement transaction management and resolve persistence-related issues
- Develop solutions for SWIFT messaging protocols and secure financial integrations
- Ensure seamless system-to-system communication and data transformation
- Collaborate with DevOps team for application deployment and infrastructure management
- Maintain your own development environment and troubleshoot deployment issues
- Work with Kubernetes environments to understand application deployment
- Configure applications using YAML files and Helm charts
- Monitor your application performance and optimize distributed architectures
- Ensure compliance with security standards (TLS, GDPR, PCI DSS)
- Work closely with project partners on client implementations
- Share knowledge and best practices within the engineering team
- Maintain technical documentation and support team learning initiatives
- 5+ years of Java development experience with strong proficiency in Quarkus
- Database development through Java abstractions (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Availability to participate in on-call shifts, typically one week every 1–2 months
- Deep integration expertise with Apache Camel and Enterprise Integration Patterns
- Temporal framework experience - building workflows, activities, and working with work queues
- Experience with financial messaging protocols (SWIFT, ISO 20022)
- Kubernetes and containerization experience (Docker, Helm, EKS/OpenShift/GKE/AKS)
- Infrastructure and monitoring tools (Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Security frameworks knowledge (TLS, SSL, NIST, ISO 27001)
- Financial services background or fintech experience
- Exposure to Drools rule engine
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Collaborative team player who enjoys knowledge sharing
- Detail-oriented with focus on quality and performance
- Adaptable to different client environments and requirements
