      At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps (Build and Release) to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment.


      Position Overview:

      As a Senior DevOps (Build and Release), you will develop the next-generation CI/CD pipeline by designing and implementing workflow automation solutions for source control management, build processes, artifact management, and delivery through cloud services. Your aim will be to streamline the development process, enabling developers to efficiently transition from ideas to code and produce releasable artifacts.


      Key Responsibilities:

      As a Senior DevOps (Build and Release), you will collaborate with software engineers to create solutions that enhance their productivity, working on projects such as:


      Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

      Develop and maintain build tooling for applications on Mac, Windows, and Linux using Python and JavaScript.

      Automate workflows with source control management (Git) and Agile tools (Jira).

      Manage artifact and release processes using Artifactory.

      Create internal scripts for packaging and publishing software releases with Python.

      Enhance cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EKS, EBS, and Lambda.

      Optimize monitoring and observability of build infrastructure using DataDog.


      Required Skills and Qualifications:

      Must-have Skills:

      Experience in software development, DevOps, or build/release engineering.

      Degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or equivalent experience.

      Strong programming skills in Python and Bash.

      Experience creating or maintaining software build scripts (Make, Maven, Gradle, etc.).

      Familiarity with Yocto and DSL/Jenkins pipelines for multi-architecture builds.

      Proficient in using DataDog for monitoring build infrastructure.

      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


      Nice-to-have Skills:

      Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar), containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

      Experience with monorepos and developer tooling.

      Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and JCasC.
