      Primary Responsibilities

      • Performs installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment
      • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
      • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
      • Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blue prints and written instruction
      • Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
      • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects
      • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services
      • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the field organization

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Possesses valid State of Texas JMN Electrician License
      • Possesses valid Driver’s License
      • Four years of commercial electrical experience supporting similar key responsibilities, preferred
      • Ability to work safely from ladders, scaffolds and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
      • Ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach and climb in inclement weather with exposure to extreme cold, heat, noise & dust
      • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 pounds of material & up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested
