What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support to Regional Finance Directors and the Sr. Financial Analyst with financial reporting and accounting activities
- Monitor grant spending and perform necessary accounting reclassifications for optimal funding utilization
- Evaluate and report on attendance and enrollment data in collaboration with the Finance and Operations teams
- Analyze and reconcile funding related to facilities multiple times throughout the year
- Assist in maintaining budget projection data and perform ad hoc financial analyses as requested

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience
- Basic to moderate knowledge of accounting and FP&A principles, preferably in K-12 or non-profit sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills with attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in K-12 public education accounting or not-for-profit accounting
- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting software such as Adaptive Planning and Tableau
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
