What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide responses to FOIA and Privacy Act requests, including data entry and correspondence preparation
- Manage the receipt, distribution, and tracking of incoming FOIA requests
- Respond to inquiries regarding the FOIA from federal/state/local agencies
- Review and redact information exempted under the FOIA or Privacy Act
- Convert hard copy records into electronic files and upload them into the FOIA tracking system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree preferred; minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
- Expertise in FOIA processing, including responding to Appeals
- Experience using FOIAXpress
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must meet all security eligibility requirements

- Familiarity with other FOIA tracking systems
