What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Type and proofread bench memoranda, correspondence, and opinions
- Maintain files, track cases, and coordinate case-related materials
- Assist with maintaining the Justice's calendar and making appropriate arrangements
- Open and distribute mail, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Work in a team atmosphere to provide backup for other Judicial Administrative Assistants when needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent supplemented by a college degree and/or post high school legal/paralegal training
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal support position
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with electronic documents
