- completion of accredited post high school education in business, paralegal, computer, legal assistant or related program.
- Two (2) years of professional office experience in business, court or legal work or a related area with one (1) year of the experience involving customer service. At the discretion of the appointing authority additional years of experience may be substituted for the required post high school education.
The 8th Judicial District of the Iowa Judicial Branch has an immediate opening for a Judicial Specialist 2 position in the Wapello County Clerk of Court office in Ottumwa, Iowa. The position performs clerical tasks in maintaining and processing court records and materials as well as assisting customers with court-related matters.
The starting salary for new State employees is expected to be at the base of the pay range. The starting pay for this position is $18.59 hourly / $1,487.20 bi-weekly based on an 80 hour pay period. Adjustments may be made if the successful applicant has relevant experience.
Location: Wapello County, Ottumwa, IA
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00A – 4:30P
