What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to software-related project functions for the NAVAIR customer by supporting Agile and Dev/Ops implementation activities
- Collaborate with Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases/scripts
- Capture and manage software/application defects in a tracking system
- Communicate issues and work directly with software developers to ensure corrections meet approved specifications
- Participate in software design reviews to provide input on requirements, product designs, and schedules
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Azure DevOps, GIT, Jira
- Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices and policies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Active Secret clearance required, with eligibility including US Citizenship and security investigation
- Educational requirement: AS or AA degree with 3 years of related experience OR HS diploma with 5 years of related experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) and DevSecOps
- Knowledge of automation test tools and techniques (Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium, etc.)
- Experience supporting applications within NAVAIR hosting environments
