What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute data validation queries to ensure accuracy between source and target data
- Perform row-count checks, aggregate validations, and sample comparisons
- Log discrepancies and collaborate with developers for root-cause analysis
- Validate data migration processes and ensure business rules are applied correctly
- Maintain test case repositories and execution logs for audit and reuse
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing/QA, with at least 2+ years in Data Warehouse/ETL testing
- Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries and validations
- Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA)
- Strong attention to detail and structured approach to validation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Practical experience in data migration/data platform modernization projects
- Exposure to Informatica, dbt, or willingness to learn dbt-based validations
- Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and practices
