- Manage daily trade booking, settlements and recap review.
- Coordinate all pre-and-post trade activities.
- Monitor and reconcile price changes and position levels on a daily basis.
- Assist in the execution of multi-asset trades in accordance with best execution framework.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of risk management, trading fundamentals, strategies and tools.
- Track and monitor loan settlement status across all loan servicers and CLO Warehouse.
- Develop and maintain key client relationships, communicating market data and analysis.
- Manage new issue calendar, books and analysis for respective funds and credits.
- Track, process and produce various requests, allocations, data feeds, internal material and reporting.
- Serve as main point of contact and subject matter expert to internal teams across Operations and Compliance.
- Coordinate with Compliance on conflict clearance and approvals to ensure investment team’s adherence to firm policies and guidelines.
- Continuously improve operational and trading workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in operations/trading.
- Advanced experience with MS Office.
- Proficiency with Bloomberg.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Creative and independent thinker.
- Well organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated passion for the markets.
- Humble and hardworking team player.
FS Investments Global Credit team specializes in opportunities across public and private credit including loans, bonds and structured credit investments. FS Investments is seeking a Trading Assistant to support the Senior Trader and work closely with the Operations and Compliance teams.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000/year
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. Eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
