What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and enhance websites and website performance using Drupal, HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS
- Review, test, and approve code changes to ensure high standards of quality
- Collaborate with team members on project planning and troubleshooting
- Analyze and resolve customer service inquiries regarding the Judiciary's websites
- Engage in continuous learning to keep updated with new web development tools and technologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to computer science, information technology, or a related area
- Substitutable experience in IT technical roles may be considered on a year-for-year basis
- Experience with web development tools and languages such as HTML, CSS, and Drupal
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to the position, including lifting supplies
- Valid driver's license in New Jersey if required for essential duties
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in PHP and familiarity with Drupal 10/11
- Background in human-computer interaction or interactive media
- Previous work experience in a government or public service environment
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for web development
- Strong writing skills for documentation and user communication
