What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct high-quality assessments of K–12 facilities using extensive knowledge from prior roles in maintenance or facilities management
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, school district leaders, and community partners while effectively communicating findings
- Compile, analyze, and present facilities data using Microsoft Excel and related tools
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry best practices while upholding quality standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in K–12 schools, higher education, construction management, or a related role
- Strong understanding of construction and building systems
- Experience working within a school district is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Five (5) or more years of experience in educational facilities condition assessment or a related leadership role
- Direct experience in K–12 schools or higher education environments
- Relevant trade or professional certifications or licenses (CFM, PMP, LEED, etc.)
- Experience managing large-scale educational facilities projects from conception to completion
- Proven ability to design and implement innovative solutions for complex facilities challenges
