Job Description

- Provides library services to children from birth through eighth grade and their adults
- Helps children and adults discover amazing library materials and provides fun reading suggestions
- Plans and presents storytimes and other programs, including middle-school-specific events
- Keeps the library collection fresh by ordering new materials and retiring old ones
- Promotes library collections, programs, and services by attending community events
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong public service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Flexible at adapting to and using various technology platforms
- At least one year experience working with children
- Hourly Rate: $18.02
- Weekly Hours: 18

We pride ourselves on our spaces dedicated to early literacy development, sensory needs, and middle school kids. The Management Team prioritizes making all patrons and staff feel valued, respected, and inspired by recognizing that everyone has unique interests, talents, skills, and abilities.Essential Responsibilities:Qualifications:Hourly Rate & Schedule:Mondays 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Tuesdays 3-9 p.m., and Fridays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.Participates in the weekend rotation.
