Job Description

- Provides library services to children from birth through eighth grade and their caregivers.
- Provides reference, reader’s advisory, and technology assistance to the public
- Plans and presents storytimes and programs for children from birth through eighth grade
- Works with the Middle School Coordinator to plan programs, displays, and school visits
- Maintains selected areas of the collection
- Assists with community outreach to promote library collections, programs, and services
- Education-related Associate degree, LTA, or equivalent experience working with children
- Strong public service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Flexible at adapting to and using various technology
- Hourly Rate: $18.02
- Weekly Hours: 16
