Job Description
- Req#: 583
- Provides library services to children from birth through eighth grade and their adults
- Helps children and adults discover amazing library materials and provides fun reading suggestions
- Plans and presents storytimes and other programs
- Keeps the library collection fresh by ordering new materials and retiring old ones
- Promotes library collections, programs, and services by attending community events and presenting programs at preschools and schools.
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong public service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Flexible at adapting to and using various technology platforms
- Experience working with children
- Hourly Rate: $17.95-$18.50
- Weekly Hours: 18
- Schedule:
- Mondays 5-9 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Participates in the weekend rotation of 1 in 5 weekends. (Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and (Sunday 1-5 p.m.)
