      We are currently hiring a Kitchen Lead in Cincinnati, OH.
      The kitchen lead for Samuel Adams is responsible for the overall daily operation of food service to the taproom. They are a leader for the rest of the kitchen and will ensure a balance between value and quality while keeping the overall brand and perception top of mind. This person will be responsible for creating/collaborating on menus, favorable margins, cost of goods, product ordering, and cross functional work between departments as needed. The kitchen lead should be innovative but focused on streamlining processes and recipes to manage volume. They should have their finger on the pulse of the culinary world and bring fresh ideas to the table and the plate.
      What You'll Brew:
      • Manages all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of coworkers in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion, and cost control
      • Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking/heating methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
      • Completes a monthly inventory of all food related items; Ensure that all products are ordered according to product specifications and received properly, assuring that deliveries are in accordance with locations procedures
      • Maintaining Health Department standards of cleanliness and execution, and act as main point of contact for audits and inspection
      • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, recipes, onboarding and schedules in an organized and timely manner
      • Assists with making employment and termination decisions including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining kitchen personnel as appropriate

      Minimum Qualifications:
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in varied kitchen positions including the role of a kitchen lead or equivalent
      Level: 8
      In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $21 per hour. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location.
