      Salary: 44-60 K gross depending on background and experience

      JOB PURPOSE

      The Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) function’s mission is to inspire, provoke and drive transformation action/growth. We are looking for a motivated, curious and passionate CMI assistant manager who embodies this CMI mission to lead a variety of Knorr’s and scratch cooking projects, working closely with the Knorr CMI Lead.

      WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

      This role partners with Global Knorr brand team, driving the brand and portfolio growth agenda into the Global team & across the world – responsible for identification & translation of consumer & customer needs, insights & behaviours into powerful growth action in brand/portfolio strategy, performance, innovation, communication & activation initiatives.

      • Driving the brand equity growth – setting the strategic agenda & actions on the brand to make it meaningfully different in people’s lives through consistent, distinctive & culturally powerful brand execution.

      • Drive greater consumer connectivity and ‘deep, rich, emotional & cultural’ insights work to inspire stronger consumer engagement through marketing campaigns and activities, and with that understanding help drive brand growth.

      • Identify and deliver trends & foresight into action to keep our brand portfolio at the cutting edge trends in a culturally edgy way – across product, pack, comms, experiences & cultural activation.

      • Actively steer brand performance for growth – infuse this into overall actions on mental & physical availability, core renovation & innovation, design, communication & activation ensuring brand high-quality credentials flow through into consumer experiences.

      • Unlock new growth opportunities e.g. tapping into new moments, needs, locations, tribes and latest trends to reach more users more often in a more relevant way.

      • Closely partner with R&D in all product development ensuring the highest rigor and quality is given to product experience design and to help deliver real benefits.

      • Inspire the brand team with insight and analysis on sustainability to help build out the sustainability agenda on both product and packaging globally.

      • Deliver through people, leverage your ability to create partnerships and collaborate with a wide spectrum of functions including marketing, R&D teams, brand agencies, research agencies, CTI & CMI expertise teams and external partners, BU (local & regional) CMI teams to deliver against business needs.

      • Be independent and deliver fact based, objective views of the business. You will provide inspirational and credible recommendations to marketing business partners.

      • Operate in a professional manner, applying CMI tools and techniques with rigour and discipline.

      SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE

      • Passion for consumer insight

      • Experience/good appreciation of research

      • End to end business partnering experience and good stakeholder communications skill.

      • Data savvy – leverage and understand multiple sets of data to craft a compelling story.

      • Good Academic Credentials, Digital Skills, and numeracy.

      TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

      • Constant Learning to keep pace with the environment and lead it. Being Updated on best-in-class consumer and market insight across topics of interest and the ability to land a message to the satisfaction of all stakeholders is key.

      • Be comfortable working as part of a virtual and highly global team and driving external orientation.

      • Deliver and drive transformational action within the business through key landing points and influencing senior stakeholders.

      • Have good analytical thinking and communication skills to present clearly, simplify complex topics and influence decision making; communication skills both written and verbal.

      • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload as requests will likely be more than resources allow.

      • A team player: accountable, open minded who likes to work in rapid and agile way
