      Position Summary:

      The Service Manager is primarily responsible for the maintenance, safety, and enhancement of the property while improving the living experience for the residents in the community.

      Responsibilities:

      • Ensure that the property maintains an impressive curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings clean and properly taken care of.
      • Provide outstanding customer service to current residents, prospective residents, vendors, and colleagues.
      • Lead team to ensure property is clean, tidy, and functioning correctly.
      • Maintain property grounds in a safe and clean manner year-round.
      • Carry out yearly unit inspections.
      • Manage and contribute to the apartment turnover process including cleaning, painting, and repairs.
      • Complete maintenance forms and logs accurately and in a timely fashion.
      • Engage in hiring and training process.
      • Coordination and oversight of contractors.
      • Participate in MRD Apartment University training.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • 1-year related experience and/or training.
      • High school or GED equivalent preferred.
      • Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
      • Valid Driver’s License.
      • Able to work nights and weekends and be available for on call shifts.
      • Capable of lifting 50lbs.
      • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Able and eager to embody MRD Apartments Core Values daily.
