The position is for a strong technical leader responsible for all personnel and laboratory functions within the CTO NAM Labs team located in the Monterrey Design & Innovation Center. What do you get to do in this position? Manage a team of technicians, engineers and modelmakers responsible for design prototyping, verification, validation and certification of Schneider Electric products and systems. Perform annual performance reviews and salary administration. Manage the department budget and create BCFE for capital improvements. Manage workload based on multiple business unit priorities. Manage the 5S and Safety requirements of Schneider Electric to ensure a zero-incident laboratory environment. Create development plans to ensure the team has the correct skills required to support current and future testing needs. Provide technical expertise to the team and maintain awareness of opportunities in new technologies for implementation in the Laboratory. Maintain and support 3rd party laboratory certifications. Manage the calibration and maintenance of equipment for the laboratory. Support the Global Laboratories initiatives and cluster activities including Agile Deployment, Automation and Digitization. Ability to turn customer needs into technical testing solutions. Manage the lab quality system quality system to ensure compliance with the requirements of the most current version of Schneider Electric's policies, and ISO-17025 Qualifications We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience. Knowledge of national and international standards Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts, terminology, and applications Knowledge of Electrical Diagrams Ensure that technical problems are resolved with appropriate actions including root cause analysis and appropriate use of procedures to carry out corrective and preventive actions.
