Job Description
- Req#: 24-20848
- Design and conduct experiments independently; collect, summarize, and present data.
- Troubleshoot laboratory issues and collaborate with researchers on unexpected results.
- Produce research results, manage data, and set up small/pilot-scale equipment and control systems.
- Document findings and recommend improvements for laboratory methods.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and manage the chemical/supply inventory.
- Ensure a safe work environment, handling hazardous materials and large machinery.
- Prepare and evaluate coating formulations, including electro-coat, primer, topcoat, and clear coat using mixing and spray equipment.
- Run and record test results accurately for all coating formulations, interpret results, and communicate findings via computer systems.
- Strong interest in hands-on work.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with computers and analytical tools; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety and maintenance instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in both self-managed and team environments.
- 2-year degree from a college or technical school with at least three years of experience in an industrial laboratory environment, or
- 4-year degree in a physical or life science

Hours: Monday-Friday; 8AM-4:30PM
