What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Produce high-quality translations at a pace of 350-400 words per hour
- Complete day-to-day translation, copyediting, proofreading, and production tasks
- Review materials in the translation management system and update documentation
- Assemble and organize content within asset and content management systems
- Contribute to workflow improvements and strategic content development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Native-level Spanish speaker and fluent in English
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of proven experience translating English to Spanish
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to apply style guidelines consistently
- Experience with CAT tools and translation management systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of localization best practices
- Experience working in the education sector
- Subject matter expertise in Math, Science, or Literacy
- Familiarity with digital content strategy and production
- Experience using project management tools like Jira and Adobe Creative Cloud
