- Support the administration of the Internal Audit team
- Lead initiatives within the function. Work closely with senior management to understand their needs and provide appropriate guidance, direction, and communication
- Works with the business/function management team to implement and enforce policies, standards, and processes that require in-depth knowledge of business or function roles and organizational design
- Plan and administer business-led programs such as people-related management, soft-skill development, global location strategy, meeting management, etc.
- Work with global hiring managers on onboarding
- Preparation of metrics and data analysis relating to the Internal Audit team
- Support to the CAO as required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- 4-6 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred; experience in the securities industry is a plus.
- Ability to exercise excellent judgment and maintain confidentiality
- Strong problem solver, forward thinking with independence of thought
- Strong written/verbal communications skills and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Analyst to join our Professional Practices Group within Internal Audit. This role is located in New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in the office).

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $114,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
