      Summary:

      In this role, you will manage and own projects and processes for West Virginia University (WVU) Medicine. You will drive accountability for defined business results and key operational performance metrics. You will evaluate processes and review opportunities for adjustments and improvements. You will develop new business operations, analyses, initiatives, and lead employees in data analysis projects.

      Responsibilities:

      • Deliver customized analyses, leverage internal/external and large structured and unstructured datasets utilizing advanced modeling techniques.
      • Identify gaps in existing reporting and analytical processes, take immediate action to address.
      • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and with WVU leaders.
      • Identify needs and reach appropriate compromises to ensure alignment with desired outcomes and expectations.
      • Share professional recommendations and preferred courses of action with external stakeholders.
      • Influence decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
      • Prepare and present complex information to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and understand current business processes.
      • Develop and guide other team members on best practices.

      Qualifications:

      • Relevant degree preferred.
      • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
      • Advanced capabilities in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and PowerBI or Tableau required.
      • Health care experience required.
      • Experience with the Clinical Database (CBD) highly preferred.
      • Experience presenting to groups and facilitating training sessions preferred.
      • Project Management experience desired.
      • Experience with data quality and performance improvement initiatives or projects desired.
      • Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative analysis and assessment, and process improvements preferred.
      • Willingness to travel to West Virginia University Medicine locations.

      Estimated Hiring Range:

      $77,400.00 - $115,050.00
