      SUMMARY

      We are looking for an outstanding Lead Analyst to join the Zappos Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in the business review process and will provide analytical and strategic support to internal business partners as well as our parent company, Amazon. You will be challenged to grow professionally by mastering advanced skills in quantitative analysis, and will be expected to use your financial prowess to develop data-driven financial models that provide valuable insights for the business. You will provide written analysis that will be used strategically by senior leadership, and will become an expert at detailing the financial impact of past and future business decisions in a clear and actionable way. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement with many opportunities to creatively and analytically solve problems amidst ambiguity.

      WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

      • Developing financial models for scenario planning.

      • Manage and continuously improve financial reporting.

      • Recommend improvements and provide scoping documents for system enhancements.

      • Partnering with FP&A leadership and internal business partners on driving the completion of yearly, quarterly, long range operational plan by month.

      • Develop and monitor KPIs with internal business partners.

      • Assist in monthly close including Budget vs. Actuals (BvA) analysis, full P&L reporting with commentary to FP&A leadership, and serve as a liaison between accounting and system teams to drive accurate close.

      • Assist with the quarterly and monthly business review (QBR & MBR).

      • Interact and collaborate effectively with company executives and senior members to collect, build, and model financials.

      • Understand strategic business priorities and able to recognize the relationship between workplace results and what caused them.

      WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

      • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related degree required.

      • A minimum of 3-5 years of analytical work experience in finance, accounting, and/or any related field required.

      WHAT REALLY EXCITES US

      • MBA or equivalent advanced business degree.

      • CMA certification.

      • SAP, COGNOS, or Planful system experience.

      • Experience in supply chain, fulfillment, operations, and/or real estate portfolio.

      • Amazon supply chain experience.

      The base pay range for this position is $115,500 to $132,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, a full range of medical and other benefits is offered.
