      Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant in Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) providing coverage for Branch Banking, Chief Customer Office, CSBB Control, CSBB Diverse Customer Segments, CSBB Operations, CSBB Strategy & Transformation, Consumer Marketing, Deposit Products Group, and Small Business.       The CSBB Marketing Sciences team has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Lead Analytic Consultant to help us achieve and maintain the highest levels of quality, reliability, and accuracy as we develop new and exciting analytic capabilities. This role is part of the broader team, which provides insights to inform our business/consumer marketing strategy to measure and optimize marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers.


      In this role, you will:

      • Lead the strategy development and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced mathematics
      • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytics, and coordination of highly complex activities
      • Lead projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the marketing organization
      • Contribute to the definition and consensus of success measures across CSBB Marketing
      • Collaborate with Marketing analytics teams to define analytic capability requirements and validate technical strategies
      • Apply advanced analytical techniques to devise solutions for strategic Marketing analytics capabilities
      • Establish standardized data processes and measures across campaign types and channels to summarize inflight campaign performance for consumption of marketing partners and marketing/analytic leadership
      • Collaborate with the business intelligence team to create automated scorecards/dashboards to support campaign measurement
      • Achieve consensus on incremental impact methodologies, and incorporate into marketing return measurement processes
      • Utilize knowledge of the business, customers, and products to conceive and promote additional features and capabilities
      • Document the requirements and scope for analytic capability projects and collaborate with the Analytic Enablement team to develop and execute on plans to achieve them.
      • Proactively manage issues and project risks
      • Bring a consulting, solution, and servicing mindset to our business partners.

      • Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data
      • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
      • Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews
      • Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported
      • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
      • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors


      Required Qualifications, US:

      • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
      • 3+ years of experience using SAS and SQL languages for database access, data retrieval, and analysis

      Desired Qualifications:

      • 3+ years of experience working with Hadoop
      • 2+ years of experience with data and analytics in Banking and Financial Services industry, particularly with Consumer Deposits products and services
      • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Experience with Python and R
      • Experience with Google Analytics
      • Experience with Alteryx
      • Experience in measurement of marketing impact on business results
      • Experience working directly with Marketing partners to set up successful campaign strategies
      • Test Design experience in terms of market to market, statistically significant sizing, and post campaign analysis
      • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and learn quickly in a rapidly changing environment and function efficiently under short deadlines
      • Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency
      • Organized and detail-oriented
      • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team, as well as independently (with limited guidance)
      • Creative thinker able to connect analytics with business results
      • Experience working with Digital Marketing platforms and data sources (such as Google Cloud, Doubleclick, Adobe Analytics, etc.) and/or experience working with list-based targeting for Direct Mail campaigns

      Salary Range:

      • New York City, NY - $100,800-$179,200 annual base

      Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus.
