      Overview



      We are seeking a full-time Lead Business Analyst in our Yarmouth, ME location. This role requires you to currently live in ME. No relocation available. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and communicating application roadmap with enterprise stakeholders and executives, driving strategic direction, and producing compelling business justifications for new projects.

      Essential Functions

      • Work closely with cross-functional project/program teams and multiple stakeholders at the executive level to ensure interdepartmental project deliverables align with long-term, enterprise objectives
      • Lead resolution of discrepancies and conflicts between interdepartmental applications and strategic channels on an executive level
      • Drive strategic direction and produce compelling business justifications
      • Responsible for ownership and communication of strategic channels roadmap with enterprise stakeholders and executives
      • Actively work to improve and establish standard practices for Engineering Business Analyst role
      • Facilitate new technology evaluation and manage vendor relationships
      • Define general approaches as well as specific, state of the art solutions to business and technical problems
      • Actively encourage collaboration/professionalism with other Garmin associates to achieve goals
      • Effectively manage time without direction, prioritize, and make good business decisions
      • Mentor less-experienced Engineering Business Analysts (Engineering Business Analyst 1, 2 & Senior)
      • Demonstrate broad understanding of Garmin’s business model including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing
      • Develop reliable solutions to complex problems which require ingenuity and creativity
      • Exemplify Garmin’s Mission, Vision, Values and Quality Policy and proactively work to improve Garmin’s image and culture

      Basic Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related field AND a minimum of 9 years relevant experience
      • Excellent academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
      • Demonstrates mastery of Garmin-specific business analysis principles/methodologies as well as industry standards and ability to apply and adapt them at an enterprise level to meet rapidly changing needs of our global business climate
      • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and lead small teams in high pressure situations
      • Demonstrated facilitation and leadership expertise in the mentoring, guiding, and training of cross functional project teams
      • Proven track record in successfully leading execution and delivering product/concept development projects of any scale or complexity
      • Demonstrates mastery of Garmin-specific business analysis principles/methodologies as well as industry standards and applies knowledge at an enterprise level to meet business needs
      • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a cross-functional setting with business partners

      Desired Qualifications

      • Agile/Scrum methodology experience and/or training
      • Experience with JIRA
      • Knowledge of human factors in UX design
      • International communications experience
