      About the Role

      Are you a self-motivated, energetic and seasoned operations leader? Does your technology and operations background enable you to further evolve our high energy team?

      In this leadership role the main responsibility is to ensure delivery of business service operations for the Corporates segment of Risk Data Solutions which focuses on supporting fee-based sales of our SaaS platform to Corporate clients.

      The RDS Corporates Operations team is based in the UK and Bratislava and works closely with the Insurance Operations team (based in Bangalore), and the Corporates Sales team which covers APAC, EMEA, LATAM and NA markets. You will be helping us to maintain process adherence, service levels and meeting key performance indicators regarding quality and governance. You engage with multiple business stakeholders and assist them in addressing external customer queries, while supporting the growth of the business unit. As we are in a dynamic and changing environment we are constantly evolving our operating model. This requires you to be an advocate for change and motivating teams to join our journey in Risk Data Solutions.

      In this position you will report to the Chief Operations Officer who is responsible for managing operations end-to-end for Solutions and it part of the Operations Management Team.

      The key responsibilities are:

      1. Delivery of Operations:
        • Leads and manages the business service team and operations
        • Ensuring service delivery within agreed service levels and meeting or exceeding key performance indicators
        • Ensuring that teams are organized and resourced appropriately with the right skills to deliver to the expectations
        • Being a key contact and subject matter expert for audits and risk reviews

      1. Continuous improvement:
        • Drive efficiency improvements across the team, whether through technology, process or organizational proposals
        • Helping us to drive towards global process harmonization with local deviations were necessary

      1. Leadership responsibility:
        • Hands-on leader of a small team of operations specialists
        • Able to translate ambiguity into tangible ways of working for your team.
        • Driving operational risk management activities which includes related key controls and quarterly risk assessment for the department
        • Ensure all operational processes are compliant with necessary governance and regulations.

      The key requirements of the position are:

      • At least 5 years experience in a similar position within a SaaS or technology setting.
      • Demonstrated experience of leading teams through change.
      • Proven ability to execute and bring target operating models to life.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to forge relationships in all areas of the business unit and with other Swiss Re teams.
      • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and efficiency in all aspects of work
      • Strong service and client-oriented mindset.
      • Language skills: English fluent written and spoken, any other European language is an advantage
      • Recognized University Degree or equivalent

      For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3300 and EUR 5400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

      • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

      • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
