- Lead a team of Cooks and Catering Volunteers
- Follow the menu plan, working with the care team to ensure meals meet the children's needs
- Prepare a variety of meals, including special diets (eg soft, pureed, allergen-free, blended)
- Support with maintaining cleanliness and perform catering-related cleaning of kitchen, storage areas, equipment, crockery, and cutlery.
- Manage deliveries and ensure all food items are stored correctly
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in cooking or catering (or equivalent)
- Previous experience of catering duties including preparation cooking and serving food
- Knowledge of nutrition, food hygiene, and infection control procedures.
- Ability to guide and supervise others
- £25,876.50 per annum, plus enhancements for weekends if worked
- 37.5 hours per week
