      With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Lead Custodian to join our team in Camarillo, CA. This is a full-time non-exempt position.

      Responsibilities:

      • Performs general cleaning to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, emptying trashcans, and replacing sticky mats as necessary. Restock designated areas such as the breakrooms, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, parking lots and other workplace areas.
      • Conducts inspection of inventory supplies and equipment and notifies supervisor of needed supplies and equipment repairs.
      • Assists Production and Warehouse departments moving supplies from Mezzanine for Warehouse and Production staff and removes waste from Warehouse as needed.
      • Provides guidance and assistance to custodians as needed. Trains new custodians, explains proper cleaning techniques, and introduces them to equipment and safety protocols.


      Qualifications:

      • High School Diploma or GED required.
      • Minimum of three (3) years of custodial experience required to include the following:
      • Cleaning methods and techniques
        1. Thorough understanding of cleaning methods; includes knowledge of safe and effective cleaning practices, including the proper use and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
        2. Operating and maintaining various cleaning equipment.
      • Lead experience guiding other custodians preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of custodial safety procedures and sanitation protocols.
      • Performing cleaning or housekeeping duties in a large-scale environment.

      Skills/Abilities:

      • Comfortable with interacting and working with all levels of customers, both internal and external; good interpersonal skills, team motivation and outgoing personality.
      • Excellent adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and projects.
      • Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately.
      • Attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Effective listening skills.
      • Multi-tasking capabilities.
      • Must have in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement.
      • Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds.

      WORKING Conditions

      • Is required to work normal office hours (with some flexibility as per the below) Monday through Friday in the Office
      • May occasionally work evenings and weekends
      • This position is considered light work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the employee sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
      • Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: viewing a computer screen
      • Frequently required to maintaining a static position, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
