About the Role

In this role, you will lead our Data Discovery and Enrichment team to produce high-quality data and analyses to support the product development of search and AI features. You will coordinate, organize, supervise and inspire a team of subject matter experts to leverage their professional knowledge – and significant amounts of on-the-job research – to evaluate the quality of search results and AI answers, for example, and explain how we can make them better. You will use your expertise in the legal domain, and that of the experts on your team, to drive insights and recommendations that are critical to creating the best features and products for our customers.

About the Data Discovery and Enrichment Team

Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts are subject matter experts in the corporate legal / financial domain, playing a key role in leading the transformation of relevant products and technologies. They partner with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to create cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions with complex data. Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts provide annotation, evaluation, and feedback critical to developing these solutions. For example, they help us evaluate the quality of search results, and therefore need to understand the complex legal and financial topics that our users are searching for.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts
• Being the primary driver of Data Discovery and Enrichment projects and results
• Performing advanced legal research and analysis
• Advancing best practices in the creation and maintenance of testing data and evaluations
• Collaborating with internal partners across a variety of different roles
• Communicating complex information to diverse audiences
• Leading presentations for internal stakeholders
• Advocating for Responsible AI

Requirements

• Have a Juris Doctor (JD) or other professional degree (CPA, MBA, etc.)
• Have advanced professional legal experience
• Be competent in advanced legal research and writing
• Have professional experience in one or more of the following areas: managing, coaching, and mentoring others
• Be a natural problem solver
• Have a customer-centric mindset
• Be able to lead highly complex projects
• Be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
• Have significant experience using Excel, Google Sheets, and similar programs
