      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst for the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team within Data Management and Insights (DMI). EDG is responsible for establishing enterprise data strategy and translating into procedural requirements that are monitored by the team. The Lead Data Management Analyst will work closely with leadership to execute horizontal business processes, such as financial and resource planning, and coordinate both internal and external-facing reporting for data governance monitoring activities.


      In this role, you will:

      • Prepare Enterprise Data Governance presentation materials for Enterprise Data Committee meetings

      • Prepare Enterprise Data Governance presentation materials for quarterly regulator meetings

      • Prepare Enterprise Data Governance Internal Business Review (IBR) and other deliverables supporting running EDG like a business (e.g., Finance and Resource Management, All Hands Meetings)

      • Facilitate Enterprise Data Governance new hire on-boarding/orientation and other targeted resource management strategies for EDG (e.g., identification and resolution of single points of failure, staffing adequacy, required training tracking, WFO compliance)

      • Organize and lead complex companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes

      • Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements

      • Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues

      • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality

      • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures

      • Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members

      • Serve as relationship manager for a line of business

      • Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility

      • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies

      • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution


      Required Qualifications, US:

      • 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


      Desired Qualifications:

      • Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint skills

      • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles: tracking deliverables and coordinating tasks and activities

      • Experience serving as a Scrum Master for multiple teams simultaneously

      • Experience in roles requiring attention to detail

      • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and hold others accountable for deliverable deadlines

      • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders

      • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

      • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes

      • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

      • Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies
