      Overview

      As part of this mission, the Data Security Team is seeking a Lead Data Security Engineer that will act as a Subject Matter Expert for design, implementation, deployment and Level 3 engineering support for operational management of data security solutions. As the Data Security Engineer, you should be experienced in system architecture, design, engineering and deploying data security applications over multi / hybrid environment that includes on-premise and public Cloud – Google or Azure. You should be comfortable in playing a lead role towards the evolution of technology deployments across the global footprint. You’ll need to be proficient in leading the engineering of data security solutions over Operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Mac endpoints and on Virtual infrastructure.       What You’ll Do

      • Responsible for the design, deployment, and configuration of data security solutions; Programming or scripting knowledge to automate application gaps or test platform

      • Provide Level 3 engineering support to Operations for troubleshooting complex issues that cause poor user experience with the software, client platforms and configurations

      • Be technically proficient with vendor tools and collaborate with vendor to identify and resolve gaps in vendor solutions/platform technologies, also have knowledge of OS such Windows, Linux and IOS/Mac Endpoints using industry standard tools to secure data

      • Partner/communicate with stakeholders and other engineering functions (messaging, network and endpoint) to ensure capability meets technical roadmap and strategy

      • Assist in developing long-term strategies around securing our data. Lead planning and deployment of major upgrades or patches for Data Security applications, endpoint agents

      • Management of regulatory and audit issues related to data security. Ability to work with business divisions and functions to anticipate data leakage threats and provide consultancy on effective data leakage prevention strategies

      Skills You’ll Need

      • Extensive experience of information technology experience, with proven experience in data security in on-premise and/or public Cloud environments

      • Extensive experience with multiple Operating System platforms – Windows, Linux, Mac

      • Extensive experience of technical hands-on experience with data security engineering

      • In-depth experience of industry leading technologies for Cloud data security management and endpoint security including system architecture, infrastructure design (servers, databases, application, endpoint agent, OS), global resilience and infrastructure management

      • Ability to create technical documentation in English for Key Operating Procedures along with design diagram experience (visio, ppt, etc)

      Skills That Will Help You Excel

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent experience/certification

      • Current information security certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other, Relevant experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection

      • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows administrative tools, including Microsoft Azure Cloud controls

      • Basic coding or scripting knowledge (at least one including: powershell, vbs, c#, java, python etc)

      • Work proficiently with minimal supervision and demonstrate well-organized, thorough, and effective oral/written communication skills

      Expectations

      It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

      The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
