Job Description
- Req#: 897597
- Perform chart reviews for dental providers (DDS and RDH), and produce a peer review report for the CQI meeting.
- Provide PRC referral approval.
- Coordinate PTO for providers at site location and approve payroll.
- Oversee No Charge review for redo of treatment at no cost to patient.
- Attend Dental Operations Meetings as representatives for dentist at each site.
- Initial Incident Report and Patient Complaint review with appropriate recommendations.
- Participate in the development and proposal of new dental policy, procedures and protocols with Dental Director.
- Assist in recruiting and retention efforts.
- Keep the Dental Director, Lead RDA and Clinic Site Manager abreast of current activities and situations within the Dental Department.
- Provide consultation services for other providers regarding diagnosis and treatment planning options.
- Provide direct dental services to program patients, including all aspects of supervision of staff functions during patient care.
- Other duties as assigned by Dental Director.

POSITION SUMMARY: In addition to providing dental services to assigned patients, the Lead Dentist will provide overall supervision to the other dental providers as assigned.
