      Major Deliverables and Responsibilities: (Detailed Job Description)

      • Lead the Customer Design Team in terms of:
      • Resource Management and Administrative /supervisory Lead
      • Operate within a defined budget
      • Prioritization
      • Improve efficiency.
      • Report Customer Team KPI performance
      • Ensure efficient collaboration with another Team within the Region
      • Develop Goals and Objectives for the design team that is linked to the Global objectives.
      • Guide and mentor, the Designers and develop plans for training as necessary.
      • Achieve process and cost efficiencies to achieve company and customer goals
      • One team one goal for the Customer Design Team
      • Team Focus
      • Improve proficiency and efficiency.
      • Collaboration between the design customer team and other design teams
      • Automation Implementation
      • Achieve maximum efficiency for Program Designers and drive continuous improvement

      Minimum Qualification:

      • Ability to lead the team to achieve goals and drive continuous improvement
      • Good understanding of Tooling concepts, Fixture & Gage design
      • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design or equivalent technical degree
      • Proficient in understanding component/assembly prints
      • Experience and expertise in 3D modeling and GD&T.
      • Expertise using CATIA
      • Speed: On time Completion
      • Capability: Skill Assesment, Tool Usage
      • Quality: First time right
      • Efficiency: Resource and License Utilization, 2D vs 3D balance
