- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/Ansibile/XLR.
- Experience in Maven/Ant.
- At least 4 to 8 years of experience in DevOps.
- Experience in any one of Perforce/Nexus, Urban Code Platform (UBuild, UDeploy, URelease).
- Experience on version control tools like Perforce, Subversion, Microsoft Team foundation server (TFS) etc.
- Strong knowledge in continuous integration Tools & technology.
- Experience working on building and deployment tools such as Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/Ansible/XLR.
- Basic knowledge on the Linux commands – viewing system processes, understanding of users/groups/permissions, viewing files and file transfer.
- Should have worked on build tools (Maven, ANT etc) and triage the build issues.
- Good working knowledge on Code Quality (JUnit, SONAR etc.).
- Experience on Code review tools (Crucible, Smarbear. etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to work with Global Teams.
- Experience in Banking and Finance domain.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer.
This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the build and deployment of applications for large business systems; create deployment scripts, configure build tools, configure pipelines and support the CI/CD process. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
