Job Description

- Masters all skills and competencies of Direct Support Professionals(DSP)
- Completes cleaning and ensures DSPs follow cleaning schedules for each shift
- Coordinates transportation of clients to ADT and outings, to include driving Quest vans/buses when needed
- Provides input to Staffing Coordinator for Performance Evaluations of DSPs
- Assist Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate ratio coverage on all shifts, to include working the floor when needed
- Assist Staffing Coordinator with training of DSPs, to include on-boarding of new staff
- Coordinates the daily schedule to ensure activities schedules are followed, and scheduled tasks occur in a timely manner
- Assist in coordination and implementation of outings and activities as requested, to include Birthday Parties and other special events
- Assist QIDPs with collection and calculation of monthly data sheets, replace data sheets as assigned
- Assist QIDPs with maintenance of personal inventory, programming, and therapeutic equipment of persons served
- Restocks direct care supplies and ensures proper usage of supplies
- Completes monthly safety tasks as assigned
- Ensures a safe environment to prevent injury to clients and staff
- Complete work orders as needed for IT and Maintenance
- Attends and participates in training and meetings
- Ensures all Quest’s policies and procedures are followed
- Reports to work during inclement weather to ensure client ratios are met
- Complete all other duties as assigned
- High school diploma and must be 18 years or older required
- At least one-year experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities required
- AA degree in Human Services Field preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- CNA preferred
- A degree in Human Services field preferred
- Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years
- Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future
- Effectively communicate at all levels, write, and speak English using acceptable grammar, punctuation, and spelling, understand and follow multi-steps written and verbal instructions
- Use functional math, analyze, and assess data, and determine appropriate actions
- Organize and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
- Work independently without constant supervision and complete work tasks to completion
- Gather and analyze information in crisis situations, and make immediate decisions
- Be flexible and work in a variety of settings
- Problem-solve and use good judgement when making decisions
- Conduct self in a professional and courteous manner
- Keep information confidential and refrain from gossip, set appropriate professional boundaries with all staff
- Proficiently use a computer
- Delegate work to maximize efficiency
- Develop staff for further growth opportunities in the company
