- Assumes a lead role by working with the nurse manager in organizing and ordering supplies.
- Assumes a lead role in overseeing the repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Assumes a key role in the education and professional development of new and existing ED Techs.
- Reports to ED leadership group on a monthly basis regarding the above, as well as any other issues and concerns among technicians.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Current CT licensed EMT preferred, will consider Medical Assistant and CT Certified Nursing Assistant with experience.
- Experience : Minimum of one (1) years of Acute Care experience in ED. Experience with phlebotomy preferred.
- Certification: Must have current AHA BLS CPR CertificationEducation: High school diploma required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, and perform simple math calculations required
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Full-time, 40 hours day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
