Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
• Should have Domain knowledge and design & development experience of Fuel System (Diesel, Gasoline & CNG) for LCV/Pickup/MPV.
• Proficient in assessing in the fuel tank / CNG tank capacity in various categories of vehicle.
• Should be conversant with system layout creation and release
• Packaging of the system taking skeleton from DMU
• DVP targets for performance, durability, and reliability
• Interaction within departments and Supplier Design Assessment with Part Development Support to finalise the design
• Should be able to interpret CAE / CFD results for required corrective actions
• Should be good in CATIA V5 for 3D modelling and 2D drg review
• Should be conversant with DMU/ vehicle level packaging / Team centre / Design release and System level DVP & DFMEA.
• Should have knowledge of benchmarking vehicles and create a database.
•Should be conversant with GD&T and Tolerance stack up analysis
• Should be conversant with Fuel Tank (Matel & Plastic) / CNG Cylinder / Pressure Regulator / CNG Lines / Filler Pipe / FDM / Fuel Line & Rubber hoses
• Experience in 1D Simulation for fuel line pressure drop analysis prediction.
• Low pressure circuit trails and measurement
• Co-ordination with prototype, testing team for the fitment and validation of design concept
• Capable of performing root cause analysis and propose design solution for issue resolution
• Should be knowledge of product development life cycle.
• Experience in Teamcenter / PLM for system layout creation will be added advantage
