      Job Title- Lead Engineer

      Location – London

      Corporate Title- Vice President

      Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of DB’s Group-wide network for all areas of the Bank. GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries.

      Lead Engineer will be responsible for the overall networking outcomes for infrastructure networking projects and ensure the executable plan for delivery of network infrastructure is on time and compliant with DB standards and industry best practice.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Responsible for managing a globally distributed group of network engineers architecting, developing, and deploying changes in a network, and delivering global and regional infrastructure projects aiming at improving service levels

      • Proactively develop contingency plans for risk management to mitigate potential operational and audit risks

      • Ensure the team follows the service standard principles, procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across project phases

      • Build the team to develop engineering mindset and promote culture of openness and transparency

      • Provides expert technical support and guidance on complex design issues

      • Identify and develop talent in the region and build strong plans for succession planning

      Your skills and experience

      • The ideal candidate will bring significant experience working in networking environment.

      • Subject matter expert in one or more technologies, with experience in managing large teams

      • Experience in designing people management and development related strategies and programs

      • Strong command of routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, advanced switching technologies including VLANs and spanning tree, and hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN/MPLS solutions.

      • Familiarity cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools
