      SEWSu2014Ohio Customer Service Center.u00A0 Although located at SEWS u2013 Marysville Office,u00A0 this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work.u00A0 Associates are required to work at least three days in the office each week but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
      BASIC PURPOSE:
      • Lead and coordinate New Model Evaluation activities (from early development until customer mass production).
      • Plan, lead, organize and control the functions and responsibilities for new model quality assurance/customer service for the Midwest Wire Harness Division.
      • Ensure a smooth start-up of both SEWS & Customer mass production.

      RESPONSIBILITIES: u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 u00A0
      • Main responsibility is a Successful Launch of New Projects in terms of QCDD (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Development).
      • Promote excellent communication and cooperation between the project team members (Internal and External).
      • Lead and coordinate New Model PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) activities with SEWS related departments, locations, and when necessary, with customers and suppliers.
      • Lead and coordinate accurate and clear NMR reports (New Model Review) for Customers and SEWS Top management.
      • Identify New Project change points (New Process, Technology, components, risks, etc.) and lessons learned from past models (What to avoid, what to adopt).
      • Work with other project members to prepare and New/Special activity plan covering all project critical items.
      • Follow up project status and when necessary, make corrections applying Honda NMR process, make it our own and improve with every project.
      • Complete and confirm New Project implementation with SOP activities and Safety Declaration.
      • Learn from the project with End Report and Reflection activities; and improve future projects.
      • Other duties as assigned: Other project related activities (Design Review, Assembly trial, Maru-W, Design Fix, cost reduction, and etc.).

      QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT:
      • Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering is required (Industrial, Electrical preferred).
      • Wire Harness Quality experience with OEM Honda is required.
      • Required to travel.
      • 7-10 years of progressive engineering experience required.
      • 2-5 years of experience of Project Management in the automotive business is preferred.
      • Japanese language skill preferred.
      • Team oriented with excellent communication skills and strong motivation for challenging tasks.
      • Proficient in MS office.
