      Job Description:

      Job Title- Lead Engineer (Java)

      Location- Pune

      Role Description

      • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development team, overseeing the end to end software development lifecycle
      • Define and implement best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles to ensure high quality deliverables
      • Lead the development of java applications, APIs and microservices, following agile development methodologies.
      • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, incorporating unit testing and continuous integration practices.
      • Implement performance optimizations and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
      • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment processes.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Planning and developing engineering solutions to accomplish business goals.
      • Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
      • Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
      • Designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and other technical products to ensure expected functional performance.
      • Designing and conducting quality assurance practices to support business development activities.
      • Driving the adoption of recognized best practice and policy and contributes to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets for the business.
      • Design and implement testing practices: Performance Testing, Test Automation, Test Processes, Testing Products

      Your skills and experience

      • Engineering degree with 14+ years of experience
      • Experience working with global teams
      • 2-4 years of experience in managing high performance teams in development projects
      • Deep expertise building and operating large-scale high-performance environments with distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, etc)
      • Deep expertise with enterprise design patterns and industry best practices with experience using modern technology (eg : Java, Cassandra, Kafka), design patterns (eg: micro services, APIs), and databases (No SQL, Oracle)
      • Strong organizational and management skills
      • Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment leading/working with geographically distributed teams.
