Lead Field Service Technician - Water Purification Systems

- Act as the primary contact for clients in your area, ensuring outstanding service and building lasting relationships.
- Carry out on-site troubleshooting, installation support, commissioning, and preventive maintenance on ultra-pure water purification systems.
- Deliver classroom and hands-on training for customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve complex field service issues, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation challenges.
- Adjust systems to align with specified technical and performance requirements.
- Identify and communicate service opportunities proactively to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Document and submit timely and detailed service reports using integrated computer tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share field insights and contribute to ongoing improvements.
- Efficiently manage your travel logistics, expenses, and scheduling across multiple customer locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification highly preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial or OEM environment.
- PLC experience required, including troubleshooting and adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with instrumentation and industrial electrical components is beneficial.
- Water purification system knowledge is a plus; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety practices (electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc.).
- Effective, customer-focused communicator who can operate independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and field service reporting platforms.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area and occasionally beyond.
