What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the lead financial partner to R&D and New Product Development teams within the Spine business unit
- Drive accountability and accuracy in financial results and projections, managing expenses effectively
- Participate in month-end close activities, including variance analysis and financial reporting
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly projections
- Build business case financial models for NPD initiatives, calculating NPV and IRR, and presenting to leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of related accounting or finance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, JDE, BPC, and Hyperion Financial Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and influence effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA)
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards and corporate compliance policies
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and efficiencies
