      What you will be doing in this role:

      The Lead Department Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the work-flow of the team, and providing financial consultation to management and staff, in addition to handling a full range of project components in an independent and autonomous manner. Provides high-level expertise in the tracking and reporting of various financial and statistical data on a recurring basis, as well as ad-hoc projects in a high-paced environment. Ensures compliance with any organizational, departmental, and regulatory policies and procedures. Independently troubleshoots problems and implements corrective action. Provides detailed, advanced financial and analytical support to the business and makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness of reporting, planning, and forecasting activities to streamline processes and improve value. Applies detailed knowledge of the areas of assigned responsibility, and an extensive knowledge of the department functions and its interrelation with the larger organization. Works closely with all levels of management. This team member provides financial support to clinical operations teams. In this role you will:

      • Lead Monthly financial reviews with service line Managers/Directors.
      • Support accounting month end close activities and variance analysis.
      • Support annual budget process and collaborate with clinical teams to meet targets.
      • Provide on-boarding support to new hires in service line to ensure new employee has right access to financial reports and training are provided to understand the financial data.
      • Support ad-hoc reporting/analytical needs to service line leaders and serve as a point of contact for finance related issues.
      • Prepare financial data for monthly VP meetings and present key areas of variances for discussion.

      Requirements:

      Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field required. Master's in finance, accounting, business administration or related major preferred.

      Minimum of 5 years' financial analysis or financial auditing experience required (preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting).
