- Enforces Ryobi safety guidelines to help ensure the safety of all Finish Department associates.
- Oversees Pre-Shift Meetings
- Promotes quality and production goals to all Finish Department associates.
- Troubleshoots and performs minor equipment maintenance to keep production equipment running.
- Contacts and assists Machine Maintenance as needed for equipment repairs.
- Performs Die Changes on Leak Testers and Trim Presses when necessary.
- Completes reports for department management detailing production output, downtime, etc.
- Assists in the coaching/training process for new and existing Finish Department associates.
- Assists in organizing proper staffing to ensure the efficient running of the production lines.
- Manages associate overtime requirements.
- Assists in managing department costs by helping control Crib spending.
- Supports Finish Supervision by completing all required documentation (IPCs; SEA Reports; Notifications; Shift Summary; Absent reports; Containments; DMRs; Cut Adj. etc.), as needed.
- Performs special projects and other duties assigned.
