  Base pay range

  $165,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

  Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, CA open to remote

  Position Overview
  
  We are seeking a skilled Lead Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading frontend development projects, ensuring high-quality code, and mentoring junior developers. This role will focus on creating responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  
  

  • Lead the frontend development team in building responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
  • Implement web performance optimization strategies to enhance application speed and user experience.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintainability of applications.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
  • Manage version control using GIT and ensure proper branching and merging strategies are followed.
    
    

  Qualifications
  
  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in Vue.js and TypeScript is required.
  • Experience with responsive design and web performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly GIT.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into frontend applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha is a plus.
  • Leadership experience and ability to mentor others in the team.
