Main duties of the job
You will be a key player in our Practice Multi-disciplinary team.
We have a mix of Long term Locum GP's, Nurse Practitioner's, Physician Associates, Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants. Over the past few months we have also developed the resource for our Primary Care Network and have Social Prescribers, a Dietitian and Pharmacy Technician supporting our Patient care and which you can refer Patients to directly.
As well as your own clinics, you will be supporting the day to day clinical management and supervision of the Practices liaising closely with the GP Partner.
We always welcome new ideas and initiatives and our Clinical Meeting forum will give you the opportunity to share these and to be kept informed on the Practice agenda and performance.
About us
Stratford Health Centre and The Forest Practice are a Primary Care Practice group comprising a population of over 15,000 patients and growing.
We operate within the London Borough of Newham and are part of the wider Newham NW2 Primary Care Network with a population of nearly 40,000 Patients overall.
Our two sites are just 1 kilometre apart and we have worked hard over the last 12-18 months to operationally integrate the Practices and align our policies and procedures.
Both our Clinical and Administration teams support our service delivery across both Practices and this provides a more flexible and productive operating model.
We are always looking for new talent and welcome ideas and initiatives to support Patient service, Team development and Practice sustainability.

About the company
National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
